cimetidine
n.
an H2-receptor antagonist (see antihistamine) that is used to treat stomach and duodenal ulcers, gastro-oesophageal reflux disease, and other digestive disorders. It is administered by mouth or injection and the most common side-effects are dizziness, diarrhoea, muscular pains, and rash.
